Hiking at Peralta

Well, Jackie and I decided that we should take advantage of us both having the same Friday off, and went for a hike in the morning. We wanted to take advantage of going out and enjoying the Arizona weather before it gets ridiculously hot. We had both heard of what a fun hike this one was, and Jackie had actually started it a couple years back but didn't finish. Well, since we had no where to be, we made our goal to finish it!


The hike ended up being 6.3 miles each way. So we went for a good 12 and a half miles and were hiking for about 4 hours. It was a lot of fun. We were quite sore by the end and our feet were killing us. We just came home and crashed asleep for the next hour or so and we are still feeling kinda stiff today.


It was still a really fun time and we hope to be able to go out and see a couple more trails before it gets hot.
